Hematology is a medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of diseases of the blood and blood-forming organs. This includes conditions such as anemia, clotting disorders, leukemia, lymphoma, and other hematological diseases. Regular blood tests can detect serious conditions even before symptoms appear.

The examination includes a complete blood count analysis, interpretation of findings, and additional diagnostic testing as needed – such as a coagulogram, electrophoresis, immunological tests, or referral for a bone marrow biopsy in collaboration with specialized institutions.
